Scientific Name: Undaria pinnatifida
This Asian kelp (Wakame) has spread mainly on the east coast New Zealand wide, also
New Plymouth, Marlborough and Fiordland.
​Undaria is found on boat hulls, rocky coasts and reefs, wharves, pontoons and buoys.
